Meet the Pastor
Ralph and Kelly Lynch
I am glad you are joining us at Blessed Hands Deaf Church. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I hope we get to meet in person soon, if we haven’t already met.
I have been a Pastor with Blessed Hands Deaf Church- a ministry of FBC Big Spring, since the Summer of 2024. I also preside over the Baptist Student Ministry at SWCD in Big Spring. You may find me in my FBC office or SWCD office throughout the week. Please feel free to reach out to our BHDC email or my VP # at the bottom of this page.
My wife, Kelly, and I are so grateful to be a part of this community and are looking forward to deepening relationships with each one of you! I am passionate about God’s Word, His love and making it known in the Deaf communities throughout Big Spring, Permian Basin and the nations.
After completing my degree at Baylor University and attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I served as a missionary to the Deaf in Baja California, Mexico for 14 years. This is where I met my wife and spent several years raising our 4 children. We then moved to Texas, eventually settling in Sweetwater to care for Kelly’s grandmother who passed away in 2014 from Alzheimers.

It is our desire to live and love others the way Jesus does- to build relationships and make disciples. We are rooted in God’s Word as our authority. We desire to raise strong Deaf leaders who will be passionate about the purposes of God. That these leaders would fulfill the Great Commission and go throughout Big Spring, the Permian Basin, and beyond, reaching the Deaf and making disciples in all nations.
